No, everything you need to get started comes packaged with the DigiMemo A402, however, we would recommend purchasing MyScript Notes handwriting recognition software which allows you to convert handwritten notes in to editable text. Customer Reviews
Here are a couple of testimonials we've had from customers who have bought and use the DigiMemo...
Thank you so much for your help and excellent service, it is much appreciated. The person who uses the DigiMemo had a one time severe RSI and consequently was terrified of using a PC. She came to realise that she was actually disadvantaging herself by not using technology, hence the DigiMemo. Now she has realised for herself what a useful tool technology can be, and bit by bit her confidence is growing. Small steps big rewards all steming from the DigiMemo!

I have been using the DigiMemo Pad for a couple of months, it is extremely user friendly and can recognise my handwriting with 98% accuracy! Writing up minutes and notes from meetings or conferences has never been so easy, I just plug the DigiMemo Pad in, convert my notes to text and email it to all of the attendees with only a couple of clicks!
I also use the DigiMemo Pad in conjunction with Microsoft One Note, with the new version I can click a button and my meeting notes are moved to my OneNote Meetings tab. One Note is an excellent package, your notes and plans can be packed up, stored on a memory stick and accessed and added to anywhere, as long as OneNote is installed, you can even share it with colleagues. With the DigiMemo Pad and Microsoft OneNote I have everything I need!

I believe that the ACE CAD DigiMemo is an important tool which can help children of almost all ages who have difficulty with writing to record their work. It is a great motivator, and may even remove the need for Access Arrangements requiring a scribe in many exam settings.

It’s absolutely brilliant. I can go to a meeting; I can write the minutes and then I come home, I still have a paper copy, a hard copy; I just link it all up and do the on-screen editing for the odd mistake where it can’t read my writing, which is hardly surprising and then I’ve got the minutes. I can save them into whatever format I want I print them off. It’s just so easy.

Absolutely fantasic in the classroom and of course with the SENCO's. Sitting in front of a parent with a PC is intimidating but pen and paper, which is basically what it is, is quite friendly and the more we look at it, the more uses we find for it.

The digimemo has transformed the way we take notes. We share two digimemos and use them in all our meetings. It's so simple to download and convert the minutes, rather than re-typing. We can do diagrams as well.
