MyScript Notes brings the power of a PC to the pleasure and simplicity of handwriting. No, MyScript Notes is ready-to-use out of the box. The recognition engine has already been trained on a huge number of handwriting samples, which means the hard work has been done for you.
3. Can I increase the recognition accuracy of my handwritten notes with MyScript® Notes?
Yes, you can take full advantage of a brand new MyScript Trainer tool to create a personal handwriting profile, which Notes can use to increase the accuracy of the recognition of your handwriting style.
4. Can I try MyScript® Notes before I buy it?

5. Can MyScript® Notes convert content other than writing?
Yes, it can also convert shapes (circles, squares etc.), tables, drawings and diagrams.

7. I've installed MyScript Notes and it's asking me to enter a licence key, where can I find it?
The licence key is situated on the CD sleeve of the MyScript Notes CD.

8. How does MyScript® handwriting technology work?
Once you've written something on your DigiMemo and connected it up to your PC, you will find yourself with a *.DHW file containing 'digital ink'. Digital ink is a mathematical representation of the pen strokes that the DigiMemo has records as you write and draw. MyScript Notes processes that digital ink using it's recognition engine, which has been trained on a huge number of handwriting samples and this is how MyScript Notes is able recognise your handwritten material with such impressive accuracy.
9. To what applications can I export my converted handwritten text?
You can export your notes to various applications such as Microsoft Word or a default text processor, some e-mail applications such as Outlook or Outlook Express, Notepad.
10. Is MyScript® Notes going to change the layout of my original notes after conversion?
MyScript Notes preserves the layout of your documents unless you choose the “Text Only” conversion mode.
11. Can I modify my handwritten notes with MyScript® Notes?
Yes, there are 2 ways of doing so:
1. With the ink editor, you can edit the original Digital Ink to remove scratch-outs or mistakes and respace things on the page.
2. Once your handwritting has been recognised by MyScript Notes, you can modify the resulting text and shapes.
