If you thought there was nothing new about D connectors, think again......

With this new and innovative Quick Lock hood system, we can now provide you with a more reliable alternative to traditional screw lock and slide lock D connector hoods. This system gives a single action locking with a positive and secure feel and a high retention force. These hoods are available in plastic, metalised plastic and die cast options and are available in all the standard sizes from 9 way to 50 way. They also benefit from multiple cable entry positions.

Apart from the obvious advantages of this system, it is very easy to convert your current traditional D hood design to the Quick lock system without changing your connectors. The hoods fit any standard D connector and the mating D connector is easily adapted, to mate with the Quick lock hood by fitting Quick lock posts. You do not even need to remove the female screwlocks if you don’t want to.
